Knight’s Fast

The annual fasting of the Knights Regnum hails from an ancient gnostic tradition of allowing the body to “die” before the winter solstice. It is thought that the earliest Christians practiced this, learning it from their Jewish mentors in the gnostic path. The principle fast is only three days, but there are several days leading up to it that are important. Some argue the fast began on the Solstice and lasted for three days. We do not make arguments, nor do we claim lineage or importance, but we instead practice concluding our fast with a vow and oath of atonement on the Solstice.

    If you are not a Knight, but you want to participate, we wholly welcome you into our spiritual practice. The Knights Regnum are a mystical order hailing from many different religions, and we value our integrity, and yours. If you want help on this fast, feel free to ask us! We are here for you. It is never too late to start the fast.

Updates

The Website is currently under construction.

December 21, 2018, the order elected to unify all digital and local encampments and dissolve the separation between. A new constitution was adopted on March 12. Officers have been installed for the following year on June 21.

The next meeting is September 12.

We hope to reveal a brand new blog for subscribers in the future! Stay tuned! For now, most of our page links are broken because we are trimming down the misinformation!

Hear Ye Hear Ye Hear Ye!

The annual Knights Regnum Caelestis Grand Conclave of 2018 ishere! This year we are hosted in the wonderfully diverse city of Killeen, TX.Our host encampment, Austin no. 2., welcomes you to a weekend filled with wisdom, chivalry, and fellowship.

How we got here

The story of the Knights Regnum begins in 1998, in the town of Dripping Springs. For a decade, the fraternity operated as a service organization and gaming club without any formal structures other than the leading triumvirate, council, and membership at large. In 2003, the document titled “purpose, passion, and performance” was penned by founding member Justin Glosson. In 2008, in the absence of the other triumvirate members, Sir Knight Glosson was given permission to experiment with recruitment, initiation, and hierarchical design in the game World of Warcraft. This led to the development, and reconstitution, of the Knights Regnum Caelestis, in 2011, unifying the digital and local bodies into one. Now, 20 years after our founding, we are blessed to have strong foundations, forward momentum, and a desire to learn more esoteric wisdom.

It’s June!

For those who are as excited as I am for the new officer elections of the Local and Digital encampments, keep a ready eye for meeting dates and times for these elections.

REMEMBER: Officers MUST BE ELECTED before JUNE 21, and all commanders must be Installed no later than JUNE 21.

Degrees and Membership

We have a whole new line of members in the Digital Encampment, and we are proud of their hard work. As they earn their Knighthood, let’s welcome them. My brothers and sisters all, Sir and Lady Knights, this has been a rough year for many of us (especially those of us involved in politics). But rest assured we are as committed to UNITY and the Path of the Exalted, with equality for ALL humanity, now more than ever.

 

Stay tuned, this promises to be a big year.
