It’s June!

For those who are as excited as I am for the new officer elections of the Local and Digital encampments, keep a ready eye for meeting dates and times for these elections.

REMEMBER: Officers MUST BE ELECTED before JUNE 21, and all commanders must be Installed no later than JUNE 21.

Degrees and Membership

We have a whole new line of members in the Digital Encampment, and we are proud of their hard work. As they earn their Knighthood, let’s welcome them. My brothers and sisters all, Sir and Lady Knights, this has been a rough year for many of us (especially those of us involved in politics). But rest assured we are as committed to UNITY and the Path of the Exalted, with equality for ALL humanity, now more than ever.

 

Stay tuned, this promises to be a big year.

Growth and Changes

It is a hard time in our world, especially in the world of politics and racial struggles. I invite all members, near and far, to join me in a celebration.

This website has grown leaps and bounds in the last few months, and our fraternal order has grown in the last five years like I have never seen it. Our digital encampment might be experiencing a lull in membership, but our local encampments are growing strong.

Recruitment and Admissions

Grand Master update:

To join the Regnum in the Digital Format, you need not have a written application until you will be permanently granted membership via the Exalted Knight degree. We must have an application on file before you can be voted upon.

This means for digital activities, new members can keep a sense of anonymity and possibly grow from “just a guild mate” to a full fledged member.

Remember! Ask to Join, Seek advancement, Knock upon the door of Knighthood!

Initiate and Squire trials are still mandatory for membership of all types.

Being a Hero

For the Living. As One.

The Knights Regnum exists as an essential component part of the journey of the hero. Our system of initiation is preparatory to the purpose and path of heroism. To be heroic is to step forward when the “non-heroic” would step back; to struggle infinitely against the pressures of opposition; to wield awesome powers of any kind – even the power of “No” – against extreme odds. Heroism is very real in our world. This is not a pithy request for more money for teachers, or some resolution of acceptance for those who struggle against social norms. The Exalted

“Love is the Only Law.”

The Path of the Exalted. My whole life I have struggled to understand this calling within me to seek it and I now know it is simply a calling that cannot be explained. Perhaps early in my life I was cursed with the desire to crusade, or perhaps I simply got the bug as a Freemason. Nonetheless, unity and the mysteries of Light, Life, and Eternity have always reached to my heart.

I want to take a moment to explain what the Path of the Exalted really means to me, and not in a scholarly way, but in a very spiritual way. Continue reading →
